Andhra Pradesh Tourism and Hyderabad 10k Run Foundation came together on 9th October 2011 to organize the Hyderabad Heritage Marathon.

It was matter of great pride for the Hyderabadis to be associated with the prestigious Marathon. Since it covered the famous heritage locations like Chowmahalla Palace, Charminar, Mecca Masjid, High Court, Osmania Hospital, Mozamjahi Market, Public Gardens & AP Legislative Assembly, Ravindra Bharathi, Hussain Sagar, Secretariat, Lakdikapul, Masabtank, Taramati Baradari, Golconda Fort and the Qutub Shahi Tombs.

Total no. of participants from Team Bajaj for the Heritage Marathon Run were 29.
